Eliminate some of the common issues that impact your game play and unlock new maps with this Call of Duty: World at War patch.
Released in 2008, Call of Duty: World at War quickly became one of the most popular first-person shooting games in the world. All the action takes place during World War II and includes some of the top weaponry from that era. Though the game comes with numerous objectives, the way you play determines which objectives you receive and how long it takes you to complete each one.
Call of Duty: World at War also includes a multiplayer element. You play as part of a team with other online players to score more points, which will help you level up and achieve a higher ranking. The game allows you to play with or without a headset. The multiplayer levels feature a variety of different games. In the capture the flag mode, your team attempts to steal the flag belonging to another team and bring it back to your home base. Other modes let you fight to the death or battle against military zombies.
While the game itself is fun, it becomes even more fun when you download this patch. A previous patch removed the spawning issue that left players spawning right in front of enemies after dying, but this patch eliminates other issues. It allows for faster game play and reduces the glitches that otherwise leave you running into walls and glitches that left players stuck inside walls and rocks.
The biggest benefit of the Call of Duty: World at War patch comes with a new map pack that features three different maps that you can use to battle against zombies in multiplayer mode. Each of those maps takes you into a new world and asks you to use World War II era weapons to battle against the zombies that pop up on all four sides around you.
One issue the patch fixes is the lag that occurs when you fight against tanks. The lag often allowed those tanks to fire and kill you before registering the shots you made. The patch fixes that lag and also fixes some of the lag players encounter in multiplayer mode. Before you can use this patch, you must have the game itself on your computer and the 1.2 patch installed.
